Service Area

All Species Pet-Sitting LLC routinely serves all of Mandeville, Covington as far north as Interstate 12, and Lacombe as far east as The Inn at La Provence. Service outside of these areas may be available for an additional fee that will be calculated based on distance.

Meet & Greets

• A meet & greet is required for all new pet-sitting clients with the exception of boarding small mammals & exotics.

• For those clients wishing to schedule home visits or dog-walking services, the meet & greet will take place at the client's home. This is to ensure all parties are comfortable with one another and the circumstances at hand, and to provide All Species Pet-Sitting the opportunity to become familiar with the pet’s home, routine, etc. It is especially important for dogs to witness their pet-sitter being invited into the home as a guest.

• For those wishing to schedule exclusive boarding for dogs, the meet & greet will take place at the residence of All Species Pet-Sitting. Because of the nature of exclusive boarding, meet & greets cannot be scheduled when another client’s dog is on the premises. This means that it may be several days or even weeks before there is an opening for a meet & greet; please plan accordingly and give as much notice as possible so both parties can work together to find a date and time that is suitable and accommodating.

• The initial meet & greet typically lasts 20 - 30 minutes and there is no fee. If a client or pet requires multiple meet & greets, regular Home Visit pricing will apply.

Boarding Policies that apply to ALL Pets

• Boarding charges are incurred for each calendar date a pet is in All Species Pet-Sitting’s care.

• A deposit of 50% of the total boarding fee is required to reserve boarding dates. Boarding reservations are not added to the schedule until the required deposit is received.

• Unless a pet’s boarding reservation includes a major holiday, deposits are refundable when cancellations are requested at least ten (10) calendar days before the pet’s scheduled arrival date; otherwise, deposits will be forfeited. When a pet’s boarding reservation includes a major holiday, deposits are refundable only when cancellations are requested at least fourteen (14) days before the pet’s scheduled arrival date; otherwise, deposits will be forfeited. No exceptions. The major holidays are: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Mardi Gras Day, Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

• The remaining boarding balance is due when the pet is dropped off for boarding or before the pet is picked up if using Pet Taxi service.

• Refunds or credits will not be issued if pets depart early.

• Pick up and drop off may be scheduled between 8:00am and 8:00pm; after hours drop off or pick up may be arranged for an additional $20.

• Pets that arrive with untreated external parasites such as mites, fleas, and ticks will be refused entry and the boarding deposit will be forfeited.


All Species Pet-Sitting accepts cash as well as Zelle and PayPal at PayPal payments must be sent via their friends & family option.

Changes Without Notice

All Species Pet-Sitting reserves the right to change policies, procedures, services, and prices at any time and without notice. Reasonable attempts will be made to inform existing clients of such changes, but it is ultimately the responsibility of each client to be aware of all current policies and service rates.


If an owner DOES NOT consent to allow All Species Pet-Sitting to use their pet’s name and any images or likeness taken while in the care of All Species Pet-Sitting in media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation, they must state as much in writing (text or email will suffice). 

Certification & Insurance

All Species Pet-Sitting LLC is certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid & CPR. All Species Pet-Sitting LLC is also fully insured by PCI (Pet Care Insurance) under certificate PCI76492. Proof of insurance may be furnished upon request.
